so i finally put a stock t25 in my 2g and already i have a problem.

when i first started to drive the car, the steering wheel would violently shake(not the car the wheel)
before it would only shake when the a/c was on but now it shakes when i turn on the car and when im drive. it will go away when i drive for a bit and seems to go away once i get over 60 mph.

only mods it has is a intake and a evo bov.

car was siiting in garage for 2 years and i recently did a oil change. going to flush radiator and transmission soon.

check engine light came on and only light was p0400 exhaust gas, recirculation flow

help

I just ordered a egr valve for the obd2 code

i dnt know if it suspension because it shakes violently at a dead stop.

My brother thinks it might be the steering wheel components
my fellow dsm friend said torque converter
and another dsm said its not torque converter because my shift knob(automatic) doesnt shake

It sounds to me like a Motor mount (Transmission).
Check all your Mounts, Because the only movement that it can get while stop, is from the Engine.
Some Mounts looks so good and new, But when you test them, they are toast.
(Feel Both sides of the Mount (Engine Side and Body Side), to feel if the Vibration passes all the way to the Frame.
Check all Four Mounts and Let us Know.

Yea, thats what I was thinking it could be. and it sounds like too.

the lower the rpm the more the vibration? ive had some pretty bad mounts in my other cars but was never violent when sitting still.

you know the order the spark plugs should be in?
pic would help

cars been sitting for a while. spark plugs?

Hey I live at Los Altos Hills 20 mints from Gillroy.
Is nice to know some DSMers on the Area.

Firing Order at the Coil is.
4---1---2---3

Order at the Head is.
4---3---2---1

If you have a 1g engine with a 1g CAS then
Swap the order at the head or Coil.

At the Coil is.
1---4---3---2

I hope this helps.
