just polished my Headlights! (Update w. Pics)

With mothers mag and wheel polish. All I can say so far is that I am very impressed with the outcome for $10. I masked off one before I started polishing and I will take some pictures tommorow when there is enough light and post them up to show the difference.

I really reccomend this to all you 2g guys with yellowish hazy headlights. I can actually see my lights through the lenses now


Ok here are some pictures. You cant see the difference as well with the pictures but it is still there. I should have masked down the front of the lens where the haze was the worst. But anyways here they are

Notice how clear the lens is on the top left compared to the right. The whole left is actually like that but you cant tell due to glare.

Pretty nasty all that crap covering the lens. i cant wait to see how much better my lighting is during the night now

I sanded with 800 grit, then 2000, then used some turtle wax and polished until my drill was too hot to hold...
result? ugliest finish I've ever seen. My headlights ended up way worse than they were before.

I'd read some using the 800grit with success unfortunately thats not me.

Any suggestions?
