ok well i was on the way home from my freinds warehouse and like 4 miles into the trip the battery light came on...

i pulled into my parking spot outside my house and cut the car off and the cranked it back up and there was no battery light...

what do yall think?

If it doesn't come back I wouldn't worry about it - but maybe something came loose when you installed the UDP?? Did you disconnect the battery or anything? Don't sweat the small shit tho :thumb:

just got done driving....

it came on again... both times... to and from best buy which is like 6 miles from my house

I'd pop off the + and - connectors on the battery and make sure they are clean. The ground could be loose. Also check the battery. That happened to me when my old one cracked somehow. Alternator could be taking a shit too but my money is on cleaning and/or reseating/tightening the + and - connectors since it's intermittent.

ok? i will try that

a really weird thing happened today...

i pulled into my parking spot... my battery light still on... then the SRS light came on followed by the CEL .....

the the RPM tach just started going CRAZY and i heard a ticking noise coming from the engine bay...

THEN

the RPM gauge goes to 0 and the engine stays running... i was just like WTF....

so i went to class and got out and drove straight to Advance Auto Parts like 200 yards from my college....

anyway get there and they test the motor and say the the alternator is bad....

so i bought a new one.

still havent put it on yet... do yall think this is the problem?
