Yep so my 3inch 02 eliminator turbo back exhaust came in...
Pros: FAST delivery. I heard many horror stories about 3 month waits... Got it in less than 2 weeks, not bad. Decent price for the whole setup also. Im happy.
My one Con: SHITTY packjob. RNR has to know how UPS treats their packages. It came in a box that was too large for the 3 peices of exhaust that came in it, its was actually made up of two boxes that were taped together quite poorly, and had 1 small crappy peice of foam to cushion the muffler and pipes. Needless to say the hangers were all broken thru the box and the nice shiny muffler had two considerable sized dents on the bottom, with scratches all around.
Now that wont effect any power gains etc... But come on, if that had been hurt anymore it might have actually made holes in the muffler. When I spend $680 on a full nice exhaust system Id expect it to come in decent shape. The main damage is on the bottom of the muffler, but there will be visible scratches on the tip and outside of muffler.
Overall Im happy with the product, I cant wait to put it on. RNR offers a great system and I just wish they would take more care into using some proper packing procedures, like a decent box and more than 1 foot of foam. Im really weird about stuff like that so I might even end up buying a new muffler since the one it came with is so badly dinged... Thats my hangup though.
So to those who have been thinking about it, buy the system, but dont expect it to come in perfect condition. If anyone has any more questions about the exhaust you can contact me at [email protected]
