Just Got a Logger !

I just got a logger can any one help tell me how I did ??


I run 93 Octane gas.
My setup is this 2.5 inch full exhaust hi flow cat Big 16g Turbo, 2.5inch intake I have removed the cone and the silencer is out as well I am running 10 PSI. Also I think am running Rich at idol I can smell gas every time I let the car idol.

I have lifter tick as well wanted to see the reading before I installed new 3G lifters

This is the Car at idol just started

Rpms 1000
INJP 2.55ms
Knock 0
TIMA 15 degrees
AIR Temp 42.5 degrees C
EGRT –28.2 degrees C
MAFS 62.8hz

After that I took it out for a 15 minute drive and I got these results at wide open throttle (I climbed to 6000 Rpms)

Rpms 6000
INJP 18.94
Knock 0
TIMA 23 degrees
AIR Temp 37.5 Degrees C
EGRT –28.2 Degrees C
MAFS 1603.9 Hz

The whole climb I got no counts of knock what so ever


About 2 mins later I got my first count of knock

TIMA 30 Degrees
AIR Temp 36.5 Degrees C
EGRT –28.2 Degrees C
MAFS 245.3 Hz




Then the knock counts came in, I did another climb to only 4800 rpms got these readings

Then on the slow down to driving speed I hit my peak knock 20 sec later

On the way home The knock sensor was about reading random counts of knock between 3-8 counts


The final was idol reading was this after letting it sit for about 1 min 30 secs

TIMA 9 Degrees
Air Temp 36 Degrees C
EGRT –28.2 Degrees C
MAFS 37.7 Hz

Any one help me out this good or bad ??

It would be a lot easier to help out if you posted the entire log rather than bits and pieces from different RPM points.

If it is Pocketlogger, use the CSV convertor and put the values in a spreadsheet.

Post a Log of a WOT run through 3rd gear from like 3000-7000

Ok here is the log did it again last night only went to 6000rpm will go to redline next run

Here it is from 2500 to 6000 3rd gear All of this was at WOT

I used a MMcd logger i got from a guy from this site was in classified for $25

They should line up but I guess the layout of the site doesnt allow huge spaces

Zero knock is good knock

are you tuning with anything or on stock fuel system. If you are, you should post your fuel trims and your O2's. This is how you tell if lean or not. You are getting zero knock counts through the run, that is what you want. Just check your trims to be as close to 100% as possible....higher means lean, lower mean rich. So add/take away fuel as necessary to get it to the right mixture.

i have that. but it wont work with me. im thinking its the cable that belongs to pocketlogger.com and thats why it wont work with the MMCD program. cuz my friend has the palm with the pocketlogger program and it works with my cable. i think its called OBD1.

Buy the software from Pocketlogger, in that case.
