i just swaped a 6 bolt into my 95 GST and had a huge problem with the ACT pressure plate hitting on the inside of the bellhousing! no matter who and how many times we reinstalled the clutch/flywheel/tranny.
turned out to be a part of the bellhousing hit the ACT pressure plate. one time the crank was stuck to only 30* of rotation, and then another time it could spin 330* ... because thats how the high points in the pressure plate would hit the bellhousing. i could see where the paint had been scraped off and rubbing on a part of an inward curve under the starter's mounting bolt. if the tranny was off the block 1" the crank would spin. it was unavoidable to not grind some of it away. i did and it cranks fine now ..
