Just bought it about a week ago. Running everything stock. Previous owner cut exhaust right were the downpipe connects to the exhaust so it's extremely loud. Was boosting around town today when all the sudden the car spudders and dies. Tried to start it back, then for a second and blew one white with blue tint smoke everywhere. Then died again. So I thought, maybe I coulda blown the little t25 but took the intake off and felt for compressor wheel play there's is none. Every time I crank the car it'll start an idle kind of weird, and start backfiring then ill apply some throttle an it acts like its running out of gas. Then all kinds of crap starts ticking in the dash. Previous owner also ripped the stereo out. Left all the wires bare an junk? Help please?!

Okay guys. Here the update. Car is shit LOL. Got the motor in everything bolted up, and hooked up. Car started for about 15 seconds idle'edkinda messed up. The backfired and used now I can't get it to anything. I mean it will crank but that's it. :( and when I do crank it it sounds like tha damn starter is gonna rip the flywheel in half. :( any ideas?

iPhone is obviously shit too. Meant to say then backfired and died.

Check timing and make sure your starter is hooked up good and tighten your battery terminals.
I had loose terminals and it sounds like a horrible grinding noise from the bay also make sure you have good spark and you have the firing order correct on the coil pack.

Anybody know what the two starter bolt sizes are? And I also noticed I don't have the front transmission mount on, the one that goes to the crossmember under the car. Would have anything to do with my problems?

Thanks man. You've been great help. Do you know about the other question I asked about the tranny mount?

I wouldn't think not having that motor mount would cause a no start issue but I would get a new one for shore.

Problem with that is LOL I can't find one anywhere. The mount is still on the cross member I just need the bracket. I've lost it some where along the line. And I swear it looks like my motor is a little to far forward?
