^back on topic...... LOL. bunch of jealous, envious, dreamers out there huh!? haha its all good! atleast she's in a real dsm'ers hands. and not hidden away like the first owner had it. ;) and yes the clutch resiviour bracket is blinging, like every other bolt in the engine bay! again, i coulda went the evo route. but couldnt justify letting this one time only, opportunity pass me up! and im a die-hard 2g enthusiast. 2door evo>4door evo..;) might have been the last of the clean low mileage 99 gsx's.. who knows... thanks to all who GREATLY appreciate the new toy! and all the feedback on her.

ohh and the hid's are 8000k. "ebay" $40 kit, going strong over 2years!

I felt the exact same way about my 2g GST I just bought.

100% stock and virgin black GST only thing changed on it were bigger wheels.

Car is completely sick and if it would have slipped away I would have had to give up on DSMs..Though I already fixed a leaky rad hose and the valve cover is cracked. :notgood.. Oh yeah need new lugnuts/tires and balancing with alignment so it drives good again.

i happened to be browsing good old craigslist today, and came across these mint evo9 recaro's! couldn't let them pass me up for only $400, im sure they'll go well with the rest of my black interior :rocks: (NO, i wont be selling my stock black leather!:p). although i do have black leather front and rears out of a 99 gs, that are for sale... now just have to order the brackets, and bolt them up. onto the pics :sneaky:

you can modify the evo brackets to bolt in a 2g, they sit a little high though. i would get some leather product to put on those though, the driver side looks to be getting worn out on the outside bolster. solid price though, mine were 850.

DSM for life

yea just keep looking man. the right one will come your way. and sometimes you have to look in the surrounding states/cities around you, like me for example. drove 5hrs to pick my baby up!

financial situations are WAY more important than "toys". tho i do miss the crap out of it! :( sold it to a dsmer in upstate ny. it worked out for the better, sold it and payed off debt. and managed to pick up a 98 magenta grey GSX(built 6bolt 2.3 stroker), and a white 97 TSI AWD. both 5spd and relativly clean cars! :thumb:

good stuf bro. now wanna donate me one LOL :D

You have no idea. Salt can ruin a car in as little as two years. A buddy of mine just brought his high-mileage 1996 Neon up here with him when he moved here from SC, and I can't figure out how the entire underside of the car is SPOTLESS when the same car up here was junked 6 years ago because it rusted away to nothing.

It didn't go above freezing in Western PA the entire month of this past February, and it snowed almost every day during that month. Where are you getting your car washed?

Try living in Detroit. You should see how bad the salt is here. Not to mention Detroit is like the salt capital of the world. Our salt mines measure over 1500 acres.

I wish people would quit bringing this thread back after it dies down. Everytime I look at it the jealousy sets in worse than the previous. Beautiful car:thumb:
