Just a quick boost controller question.

I have a Turbosmart Manual boost controller, and was wondering how to set the boost on it. Say I wanted my boost set at 15, do I turn the knob on the boost controller 15 times or do I only turn it 5? (because stock boost is about 10) Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!

You turn it slightly then check boost. Repeat as necessary. You can get a feel for how sensitive the controller is after trying it a few times.

It might be, it might not. I've seen them pretty close and I've seen them get more sensitive the more it's turned. Get a feel for yours.

Turn it 1/4 turn at a time and drive it after each turn to see where the boost is. You do have a boost controller and a way to log right? Cause if not, don't turn the boost up until you get those two.

I think simplejake means boost gauge not boost controller.

Make sure you have an aftermarket boost gauge and way to log first and of course proper maintenance and fuel mods.

Anyways to answer the question, it shouldn't be more than a turn or 1 1/2 to get the 5 extra lbs.
