yeah i want to see pics from our random trip up that hill, (almost) everyone who gathered at the delaware point stopped there before proceeding to the beach, nice lineup without any jackass VW's in the middle... LOL

Man, that was a fun drive/meet. I was the dude in the tan 1g that was always at the end of the pack. It was nice meeting a whole buncha you guys. All I have to say is....when's the next one?
 
Ahh yes, that trip was good times. However, the DSM curse did strike some of our brethren.

1) This dude who was supposed to come out broke his clutch disc the night before.
2) Steve's oil cap left him after a long and happy relationship.
3) Drew managed to melt the head on a random bolt.

Oh well, it WAS a DSM meet right? Nice seeing you folks there, and the drive down was awesome as well: we drove 6 deep from my house in Richmond: Me (black 94 gst), Dorene (teal 1g awd talon), Drew (black 2g spyder), Tony (silver evo), Dan (2002 gti), and Steve (POS talon). It woulda been even more fun if it wasn't for that cockblockin Lexus in front of us. :D

In conclusion, good job Zach, the meet was a success.

I'll have some pics up soon.

Ahh, the tan line pic. It was Dorene's two-tone back + 2 of my fingers pointing to the differently colored regions, and Tony's middle finger for no reason. HAHA...
 
problem with the tan line pic is that ... the tan line isnt the first thing youll notice.... OMG

Thanks zach, the meet turned out great. I had a good time meeting all of you, and i'm looking forward to the next one.
 
wow, just got on my computer to check out what everyone thought. I am glad everyone liked the meet, I enjoyed the meet alot and was happy to meet some new people and see some of the old crowd again. I didn't take any pics for some reason(me = lazy) but I am sure that some of you guys got some good video/pics so start posting them up. Ah now the task of starting another meet is about to begin!!
 
So just so you huys know I can do much beter than this. I have merged a group pic that I took before my camera died. I dont have acccess to my comp at home that has photoshop so I did this crap in Paint because I couldn't wait to show you guys the turnout. Also the perspective of the shots would be merged cleaner in photoshop as well as the tone of each pic. Also these are resized from 3 Megapixels so yeah, these can be much better, a poster even. Here goes, enjoy:

Thanks, I'll Make a better and larger picture if anyone might be interested in that. I just need my laptop. Nice seeing such a big'ol turn out. haha and It was nice meeting you Chris, I didnt even realize I already knew who you were (I'm the guy with the dog), duh I shoulda put that together chris+ludacris white 1g.
 
No more making fun of my back alright, i learned my lesson, no more tank tops while working on cars, but it was hot outside...i had my reasons, haha.

wish i talked with more of you guys, i got attached to the richmond crew since we arrived late together.

as for pictures, i barely took any, i'd like to get some copies sent to me via e-mail if anyone could be so kind.

good food, but those cookies made me sick (i ate them on an empty stomach, not a good idea, but they were to good to resist)

kart racing is a lot more fun if tony doesnt go (the guy with the silver evo) because he just smokes you over and over.

YEa the meet was awsome!!! Would have been better had my car been there but still fun. LOL we should start planning the next one. We have to do at least one more before the summer is over.... Go Karts sound fun!
 
I was reading through this thread just now... that was a great meet. Time to let it start percolating in your heads for this year... :D
