jerks hard under boost (backfires)

well i couldnt get past 5 psi after taking my mbc off, so i put it back on, and now when it hits 7psi the car jerks horribly and backfires...

what might be the cause?

plugs - wires - boost leaks.

the plugs and wires are a little under a week old, im running BPR7ES's ... when i hooked the MBC back up i had to add alot of straight through hose connectors for connecting short links of hose together.... thats probably my problem isnt it???
