JDM tranny & transfer case

I don't remember which one is switchable atm, But I was wondering if it was possible to put one of these on a 7 bolt 2g? If not, would I have to do a complete JDM engine swap to get one in? Or could I just put a 6 bolt in and hook it up to that?

Why would you want to do this?

its the xcase that switches.
you have to crawl under the car, and pull a pin that is held with a bolt.

Your logic does not compute

You can have a awesome awd car driving around and awd beast at the track.

are you thinking your going to have better gas mileage?
you still have to turn the rearend and axle shafts. disconnecting just makes you have to pull them behind you.

Youare still rotating it just from the rear wheels forward instead of the T case backward. In order for it to work the way you want it you need to disconnect the driveshafty from the rearend housing. Even then you are still turning more than just a FWD.
