JB weld or exhaust putty

Hey guys i have a resinator on my exhaust right now and it seems as though the weld broke on it and it's making a very loud rattling noise right now when i drive. Is jbweld safe for exhaust piping? what about exhaust putty thanks.

Your best be if the weld already broke it to have it cleaned and re welded, both exhuast epoxy and jb weld are going to dry to hard, and w/ the vibration of the exhuast will both break again

sounds like you got a bad muffler bearing. they go out alot in dsms.

, the first time i heard that it was funny as hell. Theres a ton of those stupid little things now, like calling Napa Auto Parts and asking them for a headgasket for a 94 RX-7 that one always gets me laughing. They usually reply with "hm...it's not showing up let me check in back"

This is not for my performance race exhaust it's just getting annoying, i don't really have access to a welder and don't want to have an exhaust shop fix it i'm just going for a cheap fix for right now it's on my DD. What about a exhaust worm clamp over the exhaust think that'd work?

Dude. It'll take a muffer shop ten minutes to fix (because the lifts are slow) and will cost $30, maybe. Just have it done right.
