there is a yellow one from Texas nowThat car in your av looks familiar Greg.
I haven't heard from you in a while.
Hey, newb here. Name's Joey. I live out by the rez most of the time but the last year I've resided in lovely Kabul Afghanistan. I bought a 99' non turbo RS brand new out of high school. Loved the car except for the motor. I did run a personal best of 16.2@84 with it in Memphis back in college, not bad for 150ish hp, I/H/E and no tune. Anyway, on my last R&R I bought a 98 GSX with a 16g and 6-bolt swap. But it needs alot of work, alot...engine and drivetrain wise anyway. The body is in great shape, nice rims, lowered, no power steering so it turns on rails. Only has 65,000 on the tach. Gunna let Greg look at it in a couple week during my next R&R, see what he can do. Look forward to talking with you guys and maybe goin for a spin when I get back for good. Godspeed.
I know the last post was back in 2014, just wondering if anyone else is still around? Moved the Hburg 3 years ago, bought a trashed red 97 2g GST and completely tore it apart and rebuilt it (interior swap, repaint, trans, 6 bolt swap, everything) It's my weekend warrior car and love working on her/cruising around. There is a car meet every Saturday in Hattiesburg but mostly domestics with a few imports (evo8, Honda, acura) Would be nice to see some DSMs once in a while.
