well, I've got a problem...

I had my car "unofficially" dynoed today and I put down 479hp and 528ft/lb tq on C16. Through out the second base line the clutch slipped all 3rd gear. I managed to get those numbers out of 2nd gear. I need some help in deciding which clutch to replace my tired Exedy stage 2.

I was contemplating a:
ACT 2900
SBR 4000
SBR 4500
Spec stage 3+
Spec stage 4

or go nuts on a

Spec stage 5.

My car is a street car but I need a major clutch to handle that torque and still be forgiving between race seasons.

Any and all opinions, suggestions, horror stories, criticisms, experiences, and stories about ex-girlfreinds are welcome:D Thanks for atleast making an effort to help in advance:thumb:

P.S. I really don't wanna go with ACT

Spec Stage 3 is out. It's rated for 415 ft lbs of torque. I like my Stage 3 though, for what it's worth.

Well, I managed to make a decision. I am gonna take the plunge and order either a ACT 2900 or for added insurance possibly a ACT 3200, both of which will be with street disks. Unfortunately I will have to replace the friction plate on my Fidanza Flywheel and since step hieght is so critical I wonder if Fidanza makes selective thickness friction plates or are they all one thickness? I measured the step on it and it came out to be .600 +/- .002
After reading countless posts on ACT clutches it makes a step hieght of .609 - .612 very critical for proper clutch operation.

HELP!
