i think this is in the right place, i got a friend that got a SS exhaust system that he didn't use and i can get it for really cheap, i was wanting to know if i can use this stuff to make me a custom intercooler pipping?? I'm trying to find out if i wild a few pices if it would rust were i wield

i'm going to run a holset turbo, gm mafs, and i want a super clean look so i think it would be better and cheaper to make my own intercooler pipe

if it is done correct it will not ruse and will look as good if not better than aluminum. if welded together it can be ground down and polish to a high gloss and it will look seamless. but the same could be done with aluminum but it will scratch a lot easier. down side is it is a lot heavier and doesn't have the heat transfer abilities as aluminum.
