ISC and FIAV block off plate

Can I block them off completly?What will happen if I do?I want to clean up my engine bay and have a block off plate and would like to eliminate theISC and FIAV if possible.

Still didn't find a definate answer about blocking the ISC completly just for test purposes I want to eliminate it alltogether.

Basically, the ISC block off is a hit or miss change. Some people have no problem with it and some can't even start their cars. If you have an EMS (DSMlink or better), you can simulate the signal and get rid of the ISC no problem. But if you don't, I'd say keep it. Especially since Michigan sees cold temps.
