Is this my master slave cylinder leaking?

So as i was on the road, i suddenly couldn't shift so i pulled over to the side and turned off the car. I was able to shift fine into all the gears with the car off, i decided to call my dad for help. My dad got into the car started it up and tried shifting it as well but then he threw it into reverse and was able to get it in and after that, we were able to get it into first when the car was on. So we tried to rush it back home and as i shifted, i was able to get into second and then third and it happened again. So i coasted to a stop and the car just stalls and i tried to start it again and it cranked and made a really bad noise in the engine. So my dad tried and gets it to start and limps it back home in first gear. I went and checked my brake fluid resevoir and it was empty so i looked at my slave cylinder and it didn't seem to leak. But when i check under my clutch peddle this is what i saw.

If there is fluid by your pedal its the clutch master cylinder that's leaking. The fluid for the clutch is the smaller reservoir next to the brake fluid reservoir.

Is it easy to replace for someone whos never replaced one before

Clutch master cylinder. It will get harder and harder to engage gears.

Its not to bad to replace, if you have done some work on the car before you should have no issues. Make sure to adjust the master and bleed the line after installing the new master
