Is this an indication of bent valves? Test results

I did a compression test ~3weeks ago and everything was 170+ psi ... car started to run rough and now all are still at the same level except cyl #2 -- its at 60psi and when oil is added it went up to ~70ish.

I put each cyl at TDC and injected air into the cylinders. When I got to cyl #2, air was coming out of the intake manifold (pcv hose) and if I turned the throttle plate, the tone would change.

When the car is running if I pull the #2 spark plug wire, the cars idle would stay the same (which is rough). Sounds like Im running cams or a v8 ;)

When I injected the air there was no bubbles in the thermo housing from any cyl so I dont think its a HG issue (also no smoke).

Sound like the head? I just wanted to confirm it wasnt a block/ring issue by doing this test.

edit ::: this was to show where the cam lobes were when the air was still coming out of the IM

It could still be a head gasket leak, if the head gasket blew into cylinder # 3 or #1
, there is no water holes in between cylinders, so you would not see any smoke or have any cooling issues.

If you have an air compressor get a leak down-tester, then see what numbers show up, it could just be, leaky valves, worn stem seals, or piston rings, but if you have the means, using a leak-down tester will better help pinpoint where your issue is.
the compression tester is a good standby tool, but if I see bad numbers it's time for a leak-down test.

Most likely from what your describing i'd say the problem is in the cylinder head, or it's cylinder head related, but that is just an educated guess.

Well I have a compression tester and I just took the one way valve out and hooked it up to the compressor. When I do that it holds NO pressure, and immediately goes to the throttle body. Only reason I dont think its a HG is because there was no movement of coolant in the thermo housing at all ie: bubbles) and also when I tested #1 it tested at ~150 on a cold motor/throttle closed.

Also no smoke or loss of oil, and no air out of the dipstick hole. So even if I had a legit leakdown tester, I dont think it would help too much because no pressure would ever build in the cylinder

Sure looks like intake valves to me. I think you found your problem. You dont NEED a leakdown tester especially if you can hear it that loud and that large a volume of air coming out the intake while the valves are closed. I would bet they are both bent to hell

Yea, I just dont want to spend money on a new head and then find out it was ok LOL. I cant take it apart and leave it apart so I cant really even check other than what ive already done

I would be more worried about how the valves got bent. Miss shift? Valve float?

I did a tbelt and found the balance shaft belt snapped. I didnt check timing prior to removing everything so im assuming it may have skipped a couple of teeth.
