Is this a regular 20g or Hahn Super 20g?

I am contemplating getting this turbo...but I don't know if it is just a plain 20g or a Hahn Racecraft Super 20g. Trying to support my goal of at least 400hp to the wheels. Can anyone tell me?

I don't have any numbers off of the turbo, and can't really tell if it has the 10cm2 housing or not. The manifold that is on the turbo looks like it is modified to accomodate a bigger inlet, and doesn't use an adapter. Not really sure what to make of it.

The Hahn 20g has the Mitsubishi logo...at least from the few pictures I saw on Google.

Also, the O2 housing as a T3 flange (didnt post the picture of the housing but I do have one)

What is the main difference in a 20g and Hahn 20g? Just the 10cm housing? Is it ported at the wastegate? Not much info on Hahn's website.

A real 20g, as in the one that comes from the mitsubishi fuso truck, has a td06 turbine wheel; and I think the large t3 bolt pattern turbine housing like the hahn turbo. The hahn super 20g has the smallish td05h turbine wheel found on the 14b/16g turbos with the big 10 t3 bolt pattern housing. . . The td06 20g is superior even with a smaller bolton 7cm^2 housing IMHO.

You should just get the turbine wheel measurements. That does look like the hahn. It has a 90 elbow welded on it.

Yea, looks a lot like the Hahn is what I am thinking.

Does anyone know how the manifold would bolt up to the turbo? Doesn't look like there are any threads in either flange...and from the installed pics, it looks like it is a stud or a bolt threaded in through the underside of the turbo...but I have no clue.

Hahn Super 20G.

Stay away; they're not worth the T3 flange on the turbine housing unless you're making 25+psi, at which point a smaller Mitsu bolt-on housing would yeild more flow with a larger turbine than this housing and the TD05H turbine.

The Hahn 20G's were intended for use on engines with higher compression or larger displacement than our engines, hence the larger turbine housing. This turbo would be laggier with no additional flow benefit below 25psi in comparison to a traditional TD05H 20G in a DSM bolt-on turbine housing.

^^^ This is extremely good advice. Very true!!! I learnt this the hard way wasted my money purcahsing 1 of these and when I went to the regular TD05H I was alot happier. By the way I had a similar looking T3 Manifold(Pacesetter or SS Autochrome) Dont remeber I bought 2 of those cheap looking ones and they broke few times before I learnt that I needed to re-inforce the brackets etc... :ohdamn:

So in other words stick with the B16G and hope for high 300hp range....
I love the quick spool!

I already have the parts...just waiting to get DSMLink then drop my 1000cc injectors in and bingo.

The only thing is, ever since I added my cams, I am getting creep up to 20+psi and I talked with Peepers and he doesn't make the modded WGA anymore. He told me to unhook the wastegate arm and see if I get any creep. I got 2psi creep around 6500 in 3rd gear. None in 4th or any other gear. Couldn't try 5th gear because I was going too fast at that point. He said my problem is the wastegate not opening up far enough....so now I'm looking to buy a Peepers modded WGA off of someone (erm...dsm-onster, you still have it???)

Otherwise....no clue what I'm going to do because I don't have the time to do it myself....could always take it to a shop to see if they can attempt to mod it, I guess.

I don't have it any more. Sold it to a good guy who is putting it to good use :)

Don't worry about creep. You have to have WAY more boost than 25psi to see your goal with that turbo.

In the mean time, wait to get the parts on the car. It's not worth the risk. You will be wanting a small wastegate hole for your goal so do't port the hole and put a bigger flapper on.

How much power do you think will be possible with 25psi out of the E316G? And will tuning cure my creep issue? Because this all started when I installed my cams...assuming the car cant accomodate for the extra air up top.

Thats the thing I dont understand...that is why I wonder if it is just my actuator that is screwed up. I have a brand new 16g actuator I am going to try out.

But right around 3500rpm I am shooting up to 20+ psi and I think that is around where the cams are kicking in. Never had this problem before, and I have the WGA connected straight to the J-pipe with brand new vac line...no kinks or holes in the line. I just dont get it.

I hit fuel cut every time unless I pedal the throttle...at 50% throttle in say 3rd gear I am still hitting 15psi, its crazy. Cant get it figured out either.
