So, you're saying you can get:
(1) 420A block - has it been rebuilt before (you would need to know if you need to buy .020" over or more)
(2) 420A heads - are they from a 2GNT or a Neon? You can't use the ones from the Neon.
(1) oil pan - are you sure it's a 420A?
(1) set of OEM cams - again, 420A? 2GNT or Neon?

For $180, if the block is good by itself, I'd do it. You can sell one of the heads and the stock cams to make back maybe $100 of that. Take advantage of this guy imo.

Yeah that sounds like a good deal to me. Let me tell you my story.
I'm at my local performance shop in lakewood, and they are doing some electrical work on my car, as its getting done, this guy starts talking to me about how he used to have the same car as me almost. (99N/t with the anniversery edtion stuff on it). Then he told me how he wrecked it and bought a 240sx instead, but how he had this motor sitting around his place. The guy was like dying to get rid of it.

I offered him 80bucks and walked out the door with a complete new block, head, tranny, ac compressor, powersteering pump, basically everything from that cars engine bay.
The motor only had 62K on it, and the tranny was brand new so that was a plus.

The deals are out there, just gotta keep looking, or let them fall into your lap. Right place right time.

all the parts are 420a and from a eclipse. the block is still stock and has not been rebuilt or bored at all. man i was just going to rebuild a bottom end but now i will put a performance head on as well. i get two trys to get it right as well.

btw i will pay 165 and pick them up on the 19th.
