London,
I see I have to replace my gauge cuz the stock one is junk but can I goto Crappy tire and buy a no name gauge from there or am i in the same boat? and should it be electronic or mechanical? any advice on what company to go with?

thanks in advanced guys
Brad :)

I assume your talking about a boost gauge? My personal experience, there are nicer gauges than others( My example is I had a cheap boost gauge once it and the needle would jerk, wouldn't move smoothly though out boost). But they all work, and anything will be better than the stock boost gauge.

Get an HKS. It is what i have and its pimp. Its smooth and very accurate. I had it tested at my school and it is dead on. Its a mechanical gauge that reads in bars.

As far as service... I think autometer is best; I bought their carbon fiber boost gauge and when it malfunctioned I simply mailed it to them explaining the problem and they sent me a BRAND NEW one, free of charge. Cody, you rock!

I got a defi and a faze. I use the defi all the time. looks good, accurate enough for my purposes.

like posted above, some are a bit better than other but they all work well for the most part. also mechanical will be more accurate then the digital ones. the reason for this is the digital ones have to read the signal before displaying it. this leaves somewhat of a lag in data. id personally go with a mechanical one.

They are some better then others. I have Apexi gauges and love 'em. But if you want the cheapest prcies, and good quality gauges go with Autometer.

Mechanical for boost, and everything else electronic
