Is there anywhere to get clutch pedal metal bushings cheaper than taboo?

Before I go ahead and buy the steel bushing set from taboo for $60 and weld my clutch pedal assembly I wanted to know is there anywhere else that sells these bushing for less then $60?

None of those links work. Anyway I already ordered the set from taboo as I posted this a long time ago. I havent gotten them yet though.

Christ man I'm sorry for you....

My clutch pedal assy needed to be welded TERRIBLY... I couldn't even really shift! Ordered a set from taboo and they never came. The site said they were in stock and that "in stock" items usually come in 2 to 3 days.... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeell needless to say a lil over a month later they didn't come, he wouldn't reply to emails, pm's on talk, or anything. I finally had to call him out on talk and he ended up getting pissed and not sending me the bushings because I asked when I could expect them. Unbelievable....

At any rate. I ended up making my own man. Tomorrow I'll dig up the pics and tell you how I did it. Works A W E S O M E and costed.... Well lets say it was about 1/30th of what he's charging

Oh, a lil' advice for those considering ordering from taboo....

If you don't give a rats ass when you get your parts, or if you ever get the parts you ordered at all then go ahead and order from taboo.... Otherwise think twice about it. I got burned TWICE by that guy. Christ you would've thought I learned my lesson The parts *if you ever get them* are REALLY nice too. That's what sucks.

Damn, I wish I would have known this before I ordered them as it has been close to a month now. I wrote him an Email monday asking if he has shipped them yet and I emphasized the fact that I really need them soon because its all my car needs to be drivable. havent gotten a reply yet.

Street Surgeon, thad be great if you could post how you made yours. Did you just weld washers together or something?

Im gonna give this a week or 2 more and then one way or another Im getting my $60 back, I mean seriously I should have them by now.

Yes from what I've heard they are quality but it seems that he is only the middle man that marks the price up. He knows his Shit, but doesn't know shit about managing money or customer service.

AWDlaserRS...NO! No one else makes that stuff other than Taboo. You can either order from him (and wait) or have someone else make them for you at a much higher price. Your call.

Hey common guys, I dont want this thread to get locked. I want to know how Street surgeon made his bushings so I can do the same.

And diambo4life whats with the hostility in answering my original question? Did you read what I said, I already ordered the taboo's bushings like a month ago because nobody responded to this thread until just recently. I just want to get my car going again, Ive only gotten to put 67 miles on the new engine and this miniscule thing is all that is keeping me from driving it.
