like the title says... is the t-25 internally wastegated and if so what mm in size... and it IS compatible with the stock 2g Exhaust correct.?

Yes you can change what boost you run by installing a manual or electronic boost controller. You can also switch to an adjustable actuator or shim a non adjustable one to get a couple more psi out of it.

alright when you say which T-25 im not sure what you mean... im buying one stock from a 2G... and thanks for the info on the boost controller... i knew about them but

1) can it raise the psi to anything...
2) what is the T-25 set at for psi stock?

2) stock psi on a t-25 (stock 2g turbo) is about 1 bar (14.7 psi) you cannot raise boost without a boost controller, boost gauge and a blow off valve then still you can only raise boost to 16psi otherwise your'll hit fuel cut. good luck

isnt the fuel cut determined by the ECU... if so i have 3g so i think its a little diff... but thanks for lettin me know the PSI...

There are 2 different T-25's. Which engine do you have? If you have the 2.4L, I wouldn't even touch the 2g t-25, don't think that will be able to handle a 2.4L motor. If you have the V6 and are planning a twin turbo setup with 2 T-25's... That would be interesting. But I get the feeling you don't know exactly what you are getting into with a turbo project, but I could be wrong. Check the tech section under Turbo & Intercooler for my writeup on how to make a custom turbo kit. The writeup is for the 420a but could be adapted to any car.

no i know what im doing... and have a few turboed eclipses in my area who are also helping me with the set-up
one of them have HAD the T-25 on there... for the 2.4 01 3rd gen eclipse... they said it'lll only boost to about 12 psi... and only about 160whp... thats fine with me for now... then when i get the money im bying a super16G... but this is just to have the setup on the car now...

and i have a 3rd gen eclipse so my lack of knowledge is on the 1 and 2G stuff which is why i came here... and what are the differences in T-25's and where can i find the one thats not on the 2G stock... and which is better....

Stock boost on a 2g is around 12-14 psi, but this is with the bcs hooked up. With your custom turbo setup you won't have it set-up like the factory 2g's with the bcs. Running a boost sourse directly to the t25 actuator will probably be more around 10 psi. As for fuel cut, you hit it by overrunning the MAF and you will not hit fuel cut at 16 psi with a t25, this turbo is too small and doesn't flow enough. But he was correct in saying you don't want to raise the boost more then 16 psi, as since this is such a small turbo, above 16 psi you will be out of its effiency range & just making heat. You may get away with a couple more psi if you run a fmic, but you are still going to shorten the turbo life quite abit.
