i tried hooking up an obd2 and check out my car but it wouldnt reconize my car? when i plug it in and turn the key over the obd2 turns on but does nothing. my check engine light only comes on when my car is actually running and not when they key is just to the on position. my egr is blocked so its always on but i wanted to stream live data and wasnt able to. i have not beeen able to get a hold of howell auto yet to find out and it doesn't say on the website so i was hoping someone would know about this or if there is just something wrong? before when i had my stock ecu in it had no problem picking up the engine codes and everything else so im kind of lost.

I too have not had a problem yet. I get dumb codes or the IAC every once in awhile and the scanner find and clears it for me. As for streaming live data what are you trying to use?

so i finally figured out how to check it by cel on the dash and i got 5 different codes. 12, 44, 37, 42, 45 but i cant find the reference for cel 45. 37 is the park/neutral switch and it says to replace my pcm? well i havn't had my a/fx ecu more then 3 weeks. 44 says battery temperature sensor volts out of limit, it also says replace pcm. i could only find the chart for cel codes on 2gnt.com and there is no 45 cel and there is 2 different 42 cel. one is No MFI relay (ASD_relay) output voltage at PCM and the other is Fuel pump relay control circuit, is that the same thing? i do have an unorthadox under drive pulley so im not sure if all of this is normal or not. if it says my asd is bad should i just replace? or can someone tell me what the voltage for the asd is suppose to be at?
