That guy http://realbig.com/detomaso/1998-10/102.html is like all the rest of us: part right part not.
Bottom line you need to have your head reconditioned and brought back to OE specifications and the only way to do that is with a correct ,at least 3 angle valve job and reconditioning the guides. That is the minimum you can do and that alone will give you an increase in performance and reliability. Having a correctly sized seat and guide will improve sealing , heat transfer and ,hoping that improved vacuum will not start sucking oil past the rings, you will be able to take advantage of what ever your engine is capable of.
