is it possible to throw a 06-08 mivec head onto a 2g dsm

i was sitting in class, and i was thinking, is it possible to throw a 06-08 mivec head onto a 2g dsm (4g63 or 420a) motor?

and the mivec is like vtec but for mitsubishi right?

idk it was just a thought and it'd be pretty cool if we wanted to make our cars all motor with out going through so much expenses

I don't think either of those will work because the 420a is a completely different motor and the evo motors are 180 degrees opposite of ours 4g63s. They have there cam gears and belts/pulleys etc. on the passenger side and I would assume they have slightly different water passages in the head. I would search around through the forums, maybe someone has tried to do it already or compared head gaskets.

If im not mistaken it wont work at all it is backwards cam gears on the left as opposed to a
2g being on the right. So it is backwards and wouldnt work.

No it won't work without extensive fabrication that you could put into building a head that's better than the MIVEC. Your next question will probably be if you can swap in the MIVEC in a DSM. No it won't work either without, again, extensive fabrication.
