Is it possible to convert a spyder gst to a gsx? have any one done anything like it ?

Yes. It's been done more than a couple times. Pretty sure you have to find a donor AWD chassis to get the trans from. Aside from that, it's going to take a lot of research. There's one here in Phoenix making gobs of power. Something like 500whp or so.
