So today on my way into work, im puling into a driveway and all of a sudden my car starts making this wierd "thud" sound... so i stop get out look under the left front wheel were it came from and see nothin.. nothins loose all ship shape... so i get back in and it still keeps doing the same thing.. its thuds in rythm now.. thud thud, thud thud, thud thud... it gets faster and faster with more speed, but goes away when under power and while braking.. it almost sounds like my left front drive axle just boucing around inside the knuckle or something... it still drive but the wheel shakes alot... i dunno what it is ??? anyone ??:talon:

Have you tried to manually grab the axle and move it? It shouldn't have much play in it. If it's as bad as it sounds then it should be easily moved back and forth.
