In the last week, my car has thrown a CEL my way at least twice. both instances i was at a dead stop and idling, and both instances it only stayed on for 3 or 4 seconds. i didnt move the car or anything, it was idling the whole time; CEL on, CEL off. my car wasnt driving differently at all, but i decided to pull the code anyway. code was 14, so the TPS was causing the CEL. my issue now is, i dont know where to go from here. my car drives fine, and i notice no difference while driving what so ever. what should i do with the TPS? just ignore that CEL?

I also noticed today that the TPS in my car looks nothing like the TPS in the other 1g's ive seen. mine isnt quite as big, and has the wires coming off at a 5 o'clock position, where as the other TPSs look a little more complex and have the wires coming off at the 2 o'clock position. whats up with that?
