I like this mod because when im cruisingo n the E way my arms on the rest and i could just fiddle wiht the radio easily

That would be even worse than the stock location for comfort. Am I the only one that uses the arm rest? Looks neat I guess, but function wise I like the stock spot better. I never hit my radio when it was there. Ever.

i always hit my radio when shifting and the stations changes to something random kinda like a station shuffler LOL but its all good......i like the stock spot better tho

i agree. i never hit my radio shifting. and i think that location is just ridiculous, but whatever it's your car.

i would like to just lower the height of the shifter a little though. my shifter never hits the radio, just blocks it so i cant read the track or volume level n such when in 1,3,5 gears. But that's me. Doing this i think would make it harder to see where it is at. i never listen to the radio so i only play cd's but still this would not be something i would do.

I like the relocation mods better where you place the beef of the headunit somewhere else and put the faceplate wired to it in the headliner. Looks so much nicer and makes sense. Plus i like having a cupholder.

agree about the cup holder. use mine all the time. and I use my arm rest all the time...so i could see my arm resting on the radio plus you would have to bend your arm weird to use it.....seems impratical to me.

my shifter never hits the radio either....i used to have issues with it hitting whatever I had in the cigarette lighter until I put a short shift kit in. then no more issues.

It is unique but that wouldn't work for me, the slot closest to the driver is where the phone goes and i do use my cup holder for drinks. Also I think it would be more dangerous too because to see the screen you would have to be looking straight down almost down and back plus lifting your arm out of the way. But on the positive it opens up the original area for other guages and what not, and if its just like an ipod deck i guess you'd be using the ipod to control it so that might work.

that looks to be the easiest way to steal a radio I've ever seen, I'd rather put it in the glove box and keep a remote.

Meh that would get annoying if you lean on the center console lid while driving like I do.

ME TOO!! My cup holder is also the home to about 4 dollars worth of change, as I HATE carrying change. Plus it helps at MacDs when my total $ is some ridiculous amount.

As for the radio, its unique! To each his own, but I personally like the stock location better.
