1) I have a 99 Eclipse GS-T and my car has a turbo but no intercooler. I''m seeing them go anywhere from $200 to $1200 and I was wondering what would be a good intercooler and how much should I pay for a intercooler?

2) I have been looking on andyautosports.com and they have Yonaka Motorsport intercooler 18" x 6" x 2.5 (just the intercooler) for $264.67. Where do I get the piping for that?

3) What size intercooler should I get

Talk with JR they have in my opinion one of the best intercooler kits for the money. Why don't you go ahead and tell us what other mods and such you have done to your car and/or are intending to do to your car....a lot of that information can help others steer you into the right parts to meet your needs!

i was going to install new camshafts, get a hi-po intake manifold and and cold air intake system in it...right now i can only afford the cold air intake and intercooler (as long as the intercooler is $550 or under

Cold air intake?? Your FMIC will be bringing in Cold air. You do not need a "cold air intake" with these turbo cars. Those things are FAKE anyway. Just get an open air element air filter with an adapter and call it a day. Thats like 50-70 bucks on the classifieds.

like these guys said, there are many other things that would give you alot better gains then some camshafts right now, and escpecialy before an intake manifold.. MBC, logging, gauges, exhaust... things like that should be on the top of your list... good luck..

As said before check the upgrade path, if you have 550 bucks to spend there are other upgrades to do before you go with a Front mount.

If your on the T-25 you will have issues getting any inter cooler to bolt up, something you should plan ahead of time.

Wont you lose power with a FMIC using a t25?

What you need to be doing is to first do all your maintenance first. I'm not talking about a fluid change, im talking about all the everything listed in your maintenance check sheet in your manual or Haynes. Then you sit down one day and figure out how much HP you want to run. Then you start researching what parts you need then you start buying parts. Follow what that "tech upgrade path" link says to do. If you follow those steps IN ORDER you'll be just fine.

Anyhow you need to read first and take care of a few things before you go and put cams in or even a fmic. Do the free mods and maintenance....once that is done, then worry about parts.

ok i will follow the upgade path, but how do i know if a have a t-25?

Its the stock turbo, the turbo outlet will be facing the stock intercooler, you will see that it shoots towards it. But if you have a big metal pipe in the shape of a j (a j-pipe as they refer to it on here) then you have either a 14b or 16g...ect. But i doubt you have anything diff then a t25. Just search the gallery for photos and look at the turbos, t25 and 16g....you will see what i am talking about. Oh i also have an automatic FYI and have a fmic, s16g, greddy bov, mbc, k&n intake...so i no ### im talking about
