intercooler wont fit!!!!!!!!

I just bought a used FMIC of a friend of mine that has a 1g. It has the rear exiting inlet and outlet much like the slowboy kit. http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=154&
I just installed my turbo and I started to bolt the intercooler up I realized that its probably not going to fit. The intercooler measures 9x34x3. Has anyone been able to bolt a rear exiting inleted intercooler to a 2g?? What are my options besides selling it? Is it possible I could get the inlets changed to the sides?

It isn't gonna fit huh? Mounting a intercooler IN your front bumper wasn't intended for DSM's. It REQUIRES custom fabrication. You probably shouldn't have "bought" an intercooler such as that one. From the sounds of it, you'd be better off with a Greddy 24R KIT, since it comes with piping, and everything.

Find a Honda Tooner, and make your money back.

yeah perhaps I should sale it. It fit so nicely on a 1g thou. I dont want to pay top dollar for a name brand kit. What should is sale it for with the Slowboy pipes?

Best way to determine value is research. I sold a 23 X 8 X 2.5 intercooler on DSMtrader.com for $400 with piping.

Browse the for sale ads and see what similar cores and piping are going for.

That style IC won't fit 2g's easily....
