alright my friend has a 91 talon and got a fmic that was supposidly suppose to bolt right up.... but it doesnt fit due to the black bumper support.... is that something that you guys rip out and toss away? when i got my fmic i got a core that fit in there with out getting rid of anything so i have no idea..... pics of your guy's setup would help allot....

Just mark off how much room you need, take it to a muffler shop and ask them to cut it for you. I suggest keeping the support to protect your investment from fender bender and idiots who can't park.

Like they^^^^^^^^^said.
Most kits you have to modify the bumper support and a majority of the time you also have to trim some of the bumper cover.
I cut the bumper support with a sawzaw. I personally didn't like the idea of loosing the entire support. Don't even attempt to cut it with a dremel. That would take forever.
I did use a dremel to trim the bumper cover. If you need to trim the cover, I suggest taping(masking) off the area you're going to cut first. Then draw your guide line over the tape. This will prevent the paint from chipping as you cut it. Also be careful because the bumper cover can also get to hot while cutting and melt(where the tool is).

Good luck
