hey all. just picked up another talon this week. car has a 57trim with mitsu housing on it but the turbine wheel is hosed. I have a POS gt35 knockoff that came with the car and was wondering if that mitsu housing would work on the gt35? this would make it so I don't have to get all the external wg and 4 bolt o2, etc. didn't find anything in the search. thanks yall

Turbos of difference size have different turbine wheels. Find a Turbine housing that will match you turbine wheel.

Mitsu housing are usually fitted for a td04,td05,td06 and all their variants (td06h, td06sl2,etc).

a gt35 usually has a 35 wheel, so a garrett housing for a 35 wheel would be ideal.

ok, i wasn't sure since the housing was already fitted for the 57 trim turbo if it would work on the gt35. i can just get a wg and o2 and call it a day

Sell the knockoff GT35, buy a new turbine and rebuild kit for your 57-trim. It's likely to have a T31 turbine wheel.

Doing this is probably cheaper and wiser in the long run than building your entire setup around a shitty knockoff turbo.

got an offer from a local guy to swap his 16g and 560's for the 57. i'm back and forth on what to do. if i keep the 57 then i can put in the 660's get a afpr and then probably ecmlink. i have the gm maft, but i dont really trust that for tuning.
