does a stock 1g sidemount fit on a 2g??

Not without a little cutting and creativity. The inlet of the 1g smic points almost straight up, whereas the 2g points towards the drivers side, so you'll have to rework the 1g inlet to fit a 2g stock setup correctly. The outlet will probably be a pretty close match, though.

it should i dont see why u would put it on but ya i think it should.

A stock 1G SMIC is larger than the baby 2G SMIC. The reason is because the 1G had the larger TD05 14b.

The 3/S platform converts 1G DSM SMIC's all the time. I personally run a pair on mine.
