intercooler piping

LOL Maybe this is the next big thing for the N/A guys. Maybe thrown on an intercooler between the filter and throttle body. WOOT

It won't do much for you. It'll probably make your car sound louder. Maybe better throttle response as well. 1-2hp increase. Stuff like that. Won't affect your tune unless the pipes are shitty and leak like an old man.

If you watch the factory rubber tubing under boost it actually expands a lot! Especially if it is old and under more that factory pressure. That expanding is wasted energy and throttle response. Aftermarket intercooler tubing can only help. It may not be much but at least you can feel comfortable that your not going to blow a factory rubber hose under higher boost pressure. My vote, go for it!

To answer the rest of your question if everything else is stock! and not modified then I see no reason why it would effect the factory tune of your car. If your car is stock though I might look at other mods to do before I did tubing.

ive only done the intercooler pipes and its worked out well for me spools a little quicker then normal and flows much better make sure you dont get t clanps as they tend to bite the rubber and can make leaks in places so if you find ## loosing a little bit of boost then do a quick test! do you have a certain kit in mind? dejon and greddy make good kits but i guess ebay might be ok just check those welds.

go get them pipes haha
