intercooler as radiator

I'm thinking of replaceing the current radiator with a higher flowing wide open intercooler.. has anyone tried this?? will it be enough to keep it cool, or cooler?

Will it hold the pressure??

Well Im not sure if it would work but anything is worth a try, you might look into the chevy duramax intercooler its about the right size.
