I am hunting for a GOOD intake manifold for a 7 bolt engine... I seem to only be able to find ones that are already set up for 6 bolt engines, but aren't the bolt holes different??? All advice and help is greatly appreciated.

I do not neccessarily know the exact bolt pattern of the 7 bolt head. But if you can the 7 bolt head on the 6 bolt block, then wouldn't the intake manifold pattern be the same?

An intake manifold that's good for somebody else might not be good for you. You need to be more specific.

The bolt pattern for both the 1g and 2g intakes are the same.

When speaking of 6 bolt and 7 bolt intakes, that is kind of vague. The 1g 7 bolt intake is identical to the 1g 6 bolt. The 2g 7 bolt was different.

If you are staying n/a, the stock 2g will probably work better for your application. The shorter runners and smaller plenum will aid in mid and top end but still be more than adequate for the low ve of the n/a engine. I would also use the 1g TB with it, just need to port match runners to the head and inlet to the TB.

thank you 92awddsm, it was so vague and noone says specifically made for the 7bolt 1g... just 2g head and 1g 6 bolt head are all that they really said to me for specific's... so I thank you a lot for clearing up that about the 1g's and 2g's. That's pretty much in a shell exactly what I was wondering and answered.
