exhaust manifold ?

Im planning on getting a new manifold, downpipe (unless they come together, i heard they did with pacesetter), higher flow cat converter, and cat back. mostly all pacesetter cuz i dont have loads of doe. but anyway...my question is the cover on the exhaust manifold, is it ok to take off? even though its stock. I also have an oil leak coming from somewhere i cant find. but let me know all about the manifold and pacesetter (heard to many different things about them)

yes its fine to take the cover its just a heat shield. adn the oil leak im not sure what to say because you didnt say where it was when it leaks when the cars on when its off all the time? bad leak small leak.. but my car had a bad gasket on the valve cover and it leaked a little bit of oil but for the longest time i couldnt figure out what it wasit tunred out the be the valve cover gasket

i think the oil leak is comin from the valve cover. i want to get one of those colord valve covers from ebay, but im not sure if they come with the gasket. and as for headers and dwnpipes whats a good one at a good price

Headers I got are OBX, recently got it. Looks great and adds little power. You really do need whole exhaust system to feel difference. You could find obx headers on ebay for 190 shipped check for this seller "weaponspeed" . And if your looking for valve cover gaskets look for this seller on Ebay. "nvthai". Sells them really cheap, works great too, just use some grays silcon seal and ur set
