I was wondering on a turbo charged car would an intake manifold spacer be effective?

not at all. i understand where you were going with this and that is the 350z has an intake spacer but yet the way the manifold is, it would not compare to the eclipse. so not at all. as though an upgraded intake manifold would. :thumb:

i was just wondering if it was enough of a temp difference to bother
yeah i was wondering the same thing. i'm thinking it will make some difference but will it be enough temp difference that you will notice the difference. anyone on these boards that ever used them, and noticed a difference??

they do help alot acutally my buddy has one on his talon you can put ## hand on the intake manifold after a pass and its only warm. he said he ###### got about 5% maybe even 10% more power out of it. his is a spacer with 2 heat insultaing gaskets.

HOLY THREAD DIG BATMAN!!!
I have the hondata heat shield spacer. I can full hand grab my evo3 Intake manifold after driving. I'm going back to the dyno here soon and I'll have the results gonig from stock to evo3 IM, 1G TB and hondata heat shield.
I'll let you know.

I have not seen the results Dan has with the same three parts installed recently. After doing a pull on the highway and immediately parking in the shoulder (with the car still idling) the IM was hot. I did this several times.

Sorry for the lack of technical information.
