Intake for 1Ga Talon

What Intake should I buy? I am reading that Injen is the way to go... if so do I want it with or without the dump for the BOV. My goal is to run the GM MAF and Vent.

You get a Dejon tool intake way cheaper than an Injen one and its just as good. (Dejon Tool 1g intake link) Plans to run a blow thru setup and vent is fine but until you get all that you should recirculate. You can always just put a cap on the intake later when start venting.

My question is... do I get the Dejon Tool with the dump for BOV then... correct?

If I plan on going FMIC down the road... can I use the long tube with my cuirrent SMIC? If I am going with the GM MAF... it will always be before the turbo... correct?

if you are doing a blow-through setup, then the maf will be after the ic and before the intake manifold. if you are doing a draw-through setup, then then maf will be in the same spot the stock one is, and you won't be able to vent without the nasty side-effects. blow through setup will allow you to vent your bov.

my plans are to get their upper intercooler piping that has a spot for a bov and the maf, then just getting a blow through intake pipe,... total cost will be about 650 if you find a gm maf for 50 from a junk yard... also depends on which upper intercooler piping you buy, theres one for 180, and one for 200, the one for 200 is a full stock upper intercooler piping, the one for 180 isnt...

edit: 650? wtf am i smoking,... upper intercooler piping for 180-200, blow through pipe for 90, maft for 200, maf for 50, total 520-540.... 650,... whats wrong with me...

SLS has intakes for cheap. They are local to me and I have had zero problems with them.
