I want to do a 2g MAS conversion on my 1g dsm intake...but i also want to put the intake in the fender for cold air is there a intake setup like this? if so is it worth the smaller diameter piping for a fender intake or is it better to have a bigger diameter intake pipe with a short ram intake? and were else would you put the bov besides on the intake tube inlet? i noticed some intakes don't have a intake tube inlet for a bov...so were else do you put it? and which place is better to put your bov to protect your turbo and engine? sorry for some many questions im just sorta lost being a newbie to this all. WTF

I've never seen a cold air intake for one of our cars, but thats not to say that they don't exist. The air will be heated in the compression process and then cooled by the intercooler, so it doesn't seem as though it would make enough difference to go through the hassle and restrictions of routing it with smaller diameter piping down to somewhat cooler air. As for the BOV question... WTF ... Are you talking about putting a BOV on your intake, Pre-turbo? I'm not sure I understand your question, but to cover the bases: The BOV goes on the upper intercooler pipe, and the recirculation tube goes to the intake tube, Post MAS, Pre Turbo. Some aftermarket intakes do not have an inlet tube for the BOV Recirculation, but there really is no other place for it to go, so you must either vent it or fabricate an inlet for the recirculation on the intake.

I'll refer to the intakes via tech guide...the Dejon Tool CIP-1gN Intake Pipe routes to the fender but on the other hand the Dejon Tool CIP-1gR Intake Pipe and the ATR intake pipe seem as though they have bigger diameter piping than the Dejon Tool CIP-1gN Intake pipe. and I'm not sure if it has the 2g MAS conversion on fender well intakes.
