installing megan cat back system 2g gsx

I feel like such a dummy. i git this cat back system and the punishment racing dp. Trying to put it on at work today i could not figure it out. Right after the dp do you put that little 3inch to 3inch coupling or the mid pipe? I thought i was all good and done because i put it together on the floor which it looked fine to me then i tried to put it up and the hangers didnt match up... If its a newer Megan Kit, it comes with two adapters. One is a 3 to 3 for if you have a 3" dp and the other is a 3 to 2.5 for hooking the exhaust up to the factory cat. From what I know, you need to use one or the other with the install because it has hangers integrated into it.

I had the cutback on my ralliart and it sounded great...my gf wanted one for her celica and that one was just raspy...so maybe it just has to stay in the mitsu family haha

Yes you have to use one of the adapters and post a video of what it sounds like. I have one on my car but won't be running again until mid summer. I love the sound of the Megan catback and DP.

I have Megan full 3" turbo back, you have to use one of the adaptors as stated above. Mine sounds really deep, even get old school V8 guys sayin they like the deep growl sound.

not to bring anyone down but my personal experice was megan had a bunch of fitting problem. i got a ebay one now and it was a better fit. you can try japanimportshop on ebay there pretty decent
