Megan 1G AWD 3" Cat-back

Since I can't post in the other forum on the megan exhaust thread, I guess I'll just post this here. Does the Megan cat-back exhaust for an 89-94 GSX come with a resonator? Also how is the fitment and quality of this exhaust for anyone that has it already on their car? The muffler also comes out at an angle right? The reason I'm asking is because the ebay auction doesn't have the correct pictures.

Have you tried contacting the seller and asking him?
I don't think it comes with a resonator. If you are concerned about it being to loud, get a 2.5"

I had a 3" cat and custom 3" catback with a megan muffler like that, and it was kind of loud, but I love how it sounded.

I'd prefer it to not have a resonator actually. My friend has a cat-back similar to a megan one with a resonator. You can barely tell that his exhaust is louder than stock. I don't like it. And no, I haven't asked the seller yet, but I'll get right on it.

Ya if i were you, I'd just get a muffler like that (if that's the style you like), and take the car to a shop and have piping custom bent. You should be able to get all of that done for under $300.

And yea, dont get the resonator, quiets it down way too much.

Well, I would do that except that the only reputable shop around here charges about 600 for a 304 ss cat-back. I could take it too a muffler shop, but I don't even know if they would touch stainless. So the Megan seems like a better option for me. Save about 200 bucks for almost the same product.

Well that sucks, . Yea I had a muffler shop by me put a custom stainless exhaust with a magnaflow muffler on my old cavalier for only $275. But a 3" stainless catback shipped for $400 or under isn't a bad deal.

or call megan directly and ask them instead of waiting for the seller to respond.
