Hi guys, I installed my AEM wideband today and I am running very rich it idle, I am waiting on my cable for my logger hoping it will tell me something but I also have a SAFC II that I can hook up. Do you guys think that might help with it running really rich?

my gauge it bouncing around in the red then it gets too rich and goes to 3 little lines I believe.

bounces from the 16's to the 3 little lines until i hit the throttle then it will get a little leaner but right when I let the throttle off it will go to the 3 little lines then bounce around

Thanks

Wait for your logger to become functional then use the fuel trims to tune idle and part throttle AFRs.

16 or so is too lean not rich. The higher the number the leaner your car is running. The lower the number the richer it is running. Three lines most likely means it is running too lean to read. Where did you mount the sensor at? Are there any exhaust leaks before the sensor? My guess would be an exhaust leak before the sensor making it read wrong.

The sensor is mounted right behind the flex pipe, so roughly around 36inch's.

I don't believe I have any leaks, I had a muffler shop not to long ago look for leaks and fix them?

Oh and I was just checking out all my vacuum line, and right behind the engine there is 4 little metal tubes and there is only 2 vacuum hoses hooked up and the other 2 closes to the engine is just open? Is this normal

Also anytime I left off the gas coming to a stop or just slowing down it will read very very lean

thanks for the info
