I just installed a new exhaust, and during the procedure I turned on the car after each piece in installed, the car ran loud but normally, when i got to the rear o2 sensor it wouldnt come out, so i decided to cut it and then rewire it later. Now that I got the entire exhaust in, the car just dies, it idles at like 200 and just bounces.... what's wrong? If i gas it, i just get alot of squeaking!? The only thing I did was cut the o2 sensor.
Also, both my radiator fans turn on at ignition?
Anyone know what's going on? I really need to figure this out quick.

Reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for a little while then reconnect and start the car. It could be something as simple as that. The rear o2 is only in place to let the car know that the cat. con. is working properly. If you cut the wires, the most that will happen is you will get a CEL from it. If you cut the wires with the ignition on or the car running then you might have some problems. If that is the case, you may have ruined the front o2sensor (shorted heater circuit, etc.) If resetting the computer doesnt work then Id say youd have bigger problems. Do you have any CEL's?

No the car was off when i cut the wires. The car also ran fine without the sensor, it was when i turned it off, took it off the jackstands, tried to turn it on, and this all of a sudden happened.

What all did you replace on your exhaust system? Im assuming you dont have any check engine lights? Make sure everything in the engine bay is plugged in and secure. Im guessing you knocked something loose when you were working on your car today.

When i reset the ecu, and then try to start her up again, for a split 1-2 seconds it shoots up to 1000 rpm(normal) and then begins to die on itself...:(
I'm getting alot of squeaking, so I pulled positive off to check if alternator is dying, and surely enough, the car dies when positive terminal is unhooked..... this is the cause of my problems?
Also, why are both of my fans now on?

Try again with the rear o2 and see if you can get it out of the exhaust pipe. Wire it up on the front o2 position to see if it works. This will at least rule out the o2 sensor. They can just quit like that, seemingly out of nowhere and cause all sorts of funky problems. Good luck. Im running out of ideas.

when i cut the wires.... they were pretty close to eachother, if they were to touch... any of them, could this cause this problem???

Lets say it was? I'm just trying to rule it out, because I did start the car with the wires pretty close to each other. What would get damaged if any of these wires were to have touched?

Anyone else have any ideas? Is my ECU fried, since i'm almost 90% sure the wires touched.
the car acting like it's running out of gas... when i pulled the plugs they were wet(gas)?

If the wires arced anywhere, the front o2 could possibly be dead. One way to check is to swap in the rear o2 momentarily or hook up a voltmeter to the blue wire on the front o2 with the car running to see if the sensor is cycling properly and within it's range. You said that when you disconnect/reconnect the battery the car runs for a second or two? You should be able to get a reading from the o2 in that amount of time. During warm-up enrichment, the voltage reading could be up around 1 volt and hang there for a while. But then again, Im taking a shot in the dark but it's easy to rule that out.
