I replaced the stockers with Tokico HP Blues and Tokico Springs(red).. Yes I have said this in about 5 different threads but I have a new question.. Well they dont seem as low as they should so since they are brand new, is that why they are sitting a bit high? I mean they did lower the car, but not 1.5 like they were supposed to.. yes we cut the bumpstops and tightened all the suspension back up to spec.. All 4 sides sit about 2/5 of an inch higher than they should. Lowered it would have been a 1.3 inch gap left from my stock but right now its sitting at a 1.7 inch gap. So does the springs need a bit of wear on them to sag down to a consistant 1.5 drop or does Tokico just overestimate on the drop? Other than that, I would recommend these struts and springs to anyone with a 2g.. They are so much better than stocks, well MY shocks in general.. I had 3 busted struts so I wouldnt know the feeling of a working stock strut haha.

Maybe since your old suspension was crappy, it was sitting lower than it should have been and that's why you didn't notice as big of a change as you expected.

If your old springs were shot or drooping at all it wouldnt be as noticable. I thought mine only dropped me like 1 inch and they were suppost to be 2 inch. Found out stock ride height and drop ended up just short of 3''.

Yeh, I posted the thread when I first put them on.. the gap is a little less than I thought now that I have seen it during daylight.. There is about a 2 finger gap in the front and 2-3 in the back. This drop is very nice, it handles shitty roads pretty good as well. As far as pics, I have a friend coming over today actually with a digital camera so yea I can get some pics for ya. If you are thinking about this setup.. its really great, no hassle with trying to get the suspension parts to fit the new springs and struts, and if your lucky like I was, both rear struts can be taken off and reinstalled within 10 minutes(this doesnt include the assembly of the new ones). Overall the job took a good 4 hours, without air. The rear will need a camber kit though.
