inspection + 650 cc injectors = fail?

Well, when i got my car, it had 650cc injectors already installed. It has a 2.5" turboback with cat and i was wondering if you think ill pass. if not, or from personal experience, what did you guys do to pass? the guy i bought it from said it probably wont pass only due to the injectors.....any info would be appreciated.

Well if you have no AFC or fuel managment you will probably fail seeing as how you will be so rich. I'm surprised the car runs.

If the mods in his profile are for this car, then he has an SAFC, along with a shitload of other goodies, including a B16G. What boost are you running? If the car is tuned correctly (not too rich) then you will probably pass. Get some alcohol (from pepboys, that stuff that helps u pass inspection) and dump it in there with hardly any gas left. Let your car warm up fully before the test and dont shut it off till after the test (if the cat is hot it does a better job). Also do a small tuneup (air filter, plugs, wires if there old) to get the car in tip-top shape. Good luck!

ok well as long as he has an AFC he should pass.

I passed no problem with AFC and 650's

yeh i got an afc, all my plugs/filter/oil is new... now for my specific setup, its recc. to set base tune at -10% (2g MAF + 650cc's) so what you think i should set it at? -15? -20?

also, one thing that ive been concerned about is... the dyno thing... do they really have a dyno for awd? because i know rwd and fwd get run on the dyno....but ive never heard of an awd on it. btw, if you havent seen my info, im in NJ.

In Arizona if you're AWD they just do an idle test.

my thought tho , it should be the same. because i know they dont have awd dynos in jersey either. WHAT SHOULD I SET MY AFC AT, i dont want the car to blow up


edit: well since i didnt know what to set it at, i put it at -13% across (2gmaf / 650cc injectors)

its not that bad actually. i think that if i buy that gas additive that guarantees to pass HC and CO, i shouldnt have a problem. ill set it at -15% across too i guess..

since i have awd, they just tested it at 2500rpm
