First off, I hope everyone's new year is off to a great start!... (Im just going to jump right in it).
I moved my eclipse today from one bay to other at work. (It currently stays there, Just completed the build about a month ago) While in the process of swapping the cars around, I noticed after pulling it back in (10mins) it sounded like it was missing. Took a look at the wideband and noticed It was not reading(lean). So I checked each individual plug wire (yes, while running) and I noticed that It does need a new plug wire but that didn't cause it to run any better or worse. So I then continued to remove each of the injector wires 1 by 1. Then on the 3rd injector (left to right/ 3rd cylinder) It was dead and not getting and fuel. Plugged a tester to the injector wire. NOTHING... Cut the car off, pulled the neg side off the battery and reset ecu. Plugged back up, started the car with #3 injector wire off, re-checked and it was firing. Plugged back in and the car and Its now running fine(only ran for 2mins then I cut it off)...... So my question is - Is the ecu going bad or the injector resistor pack?
Thanks and sorry for the book
